One Front Door for Slinger

Most districts hear the same thing. People don't know where to go for help. So we walked slinger.k12.wi.us the way a teacher, a parent and a custodian would. About 90 seconds.

What we found

Three Everyday Questions. Three Paths.

A teacher's projector won't turn on

On slinger.k12.wi.us Staff Resources holds a long list of links. Tech help runs through the district staff page and its email forms.

A custodian spots a leak in the hallway

Work Orders on Staff Resources opens an outside portal with its own sign in. Facility requests use a second login on that portal.

A parent has a question about the bus

The Bus Company page links off the site to the bus contractor, which lists a phone number.

What one front door changes

Your site already has good answers, like which documents a family needs to enroll. schoolAgent answers from that content and sends everything else to the right team with the details attached. One place to ask. Your team keeps the work that needs them.

How we made this

We walked a handful of everyday questions through slinger.k12.wi.us the way a parent or staff member would. What we found is common. Most districts add systems over time, from different teams. Everything here comes from your public website, and we haven't posted it anywhere. The schoolAgent scenes are a concept view.
