about schoolOS

Somewhere in your district, one person is holding it all together by hand.

We built schoolOS for them. For the staff who reroute tickets, chase approvals, and rebuild the same spreadsheet every August. The work that keeps a district running should not depend on heroics. It should move on its own.

Why we exist

Most district problems are coordination problems

Districts do not run on one system. They run on a helpdesk, an asset tracker, a stack of spreadsheets, and vendor portals that were never built to talk to each other.

So the coordination falls to people. Visibility breaks. Work slows down. Decisions get made on incomplete information.

We saw the same pattern in district after district. The tools were rarely the problem. The gaps between them were.

Most district operations rely on manual coordination across systems that were never designed to work together. We built schoolOS so that coordination happens automatically, and district teams can focus on what actually matters.

What we built

The First Operational Intelligence for K-12

schoolOS isn’t another tool to add to the pile. It’s one intelligent system that learns from your daily operations, moves routine work forward on its own, and turns everyday activity into insight you can act on. Powered by agentic AI. Built for the way districts actually work.

What we stand for

The Convictions We Stand By

Software should fit your district, not the other way around.

You should never have to compromise your process to fit a tool. The system adapts to how your team already works, not the reverse.

AI belongs in operations, not in judging kids.

Our agents work on devices, tickets, and procurement. Never on academic or behavioral records. That single choice is what makes our AI safe to put in front of a board. Read our approach to trust and safety.

The work should move on its own.

You do not need more dashboards to stare at. You need workflows that advance without someone pushing every one of them by hand.

You should be free to leave.

No rip and replace. No lock-in. We work alongside the systems you already run, and we earn renewal through value, not friction.

Who we are

Built by People Who Understand K-12

schoolOS was founded by people who’ve spent their careers in K-12 edtech. We’ve spent countless hours helping districts try to make disconnected tools work together. We started schoolOS to fix the problems we kept seeing over and over again.

Figures reflect the founders' prior companies and roles, not schoolOS results. schoolOS launched in 2026.
schoolOS is the first platform I've seen that actually addresses how operations work in practice.
