Our commitment
schoolOS does not send spam. We email K12 leaders about work that matters to their districts, and we stop the moment you ask us to.
This policy covers every email schoolOS sends. That includes newsletters, event invites, product updates, and direct outreach from our team. We follow the U.S. CAN SPAM Act and the sending rules set by major email providers.
Who we email
We email people in their professional roles at school districts, schools, and education organizations. We do not email students. We do not email personal addresses we were not given.
We get contact information in a few ways.
• You gave it to us through our website, a webinar, a demo request, or a conference.
• You work with us or with a partner who introduced us.
• Your district publishes your work contact information, and your role fits what schoolOS does.
We never sell, rent, or share your email address with outside marketers.
What every email includes
Every marketing email from schoolOS includes these things.
• A real sender name and a working reply address at a schoolOS domain
• A subject line that matches what the email says
• Our mailing address, 2261 Market Street STE 74915, San Francisco, CA 94114
• A clear way to unsubscribe
• A link to this policy
Direct emails from our team follow the same rules. If you reply and ask us to stop, we stop.
How to opt out
You can stop our emails at any time. Pick whichever way is easiest for you.
1. Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
2. Reply to any email and tell us to stop.
3. Email us at abuse@theschoolos.com with the address you want removed.
We remove you right away, and always within 10 business days. Unsubscribing is free. We will not ask you for anything beyond your email address. Once you opt out, every person on our team stops emailing that address.
How we send
We protect our email so you know it really comes from us.
• We sign our email with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on every domain we send from.
• We keep sending volume low and steady.
• We remove addresses that bounce.
• We check our domains against public blocklists every week and fix problems fast.
Report a problem
Got an email from us you did not want? Tell us at abuse@theschoolos.com. Include the address it went to and forward the email if you can. A real person reads every report and replies within 2 business days.
If you run email security for a district and our domain shows up on a blocklist, contact us at the same address. We will work with you to fix it.
